Pune/ Japan- Pune-based Advik Hi-tech Private Ltd. and Nikki Co Ltd. of Japan have signed a technology collaboration for manufacture of CNG regulators. This agreement aims to provide Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) mobility solutions to the Indian market at an affordable cost.
With Nikki’s proven technology and Advik’s manufacturing capabilities, this product will cater to internal combustion engine applications for the India passenger car and commercial vehicle market. Through this latest collaboration, Advik widens its product portfolio in the passenger car and commercial vehicle segments.
The creation of an India-based partnership will enable Advik’s expertise to be leveraged to fully localise production and supply chain and offer ‘Made in India’ products to Indian OEMs at affordable costs.
The new technology partnership will be responsible for the design, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of compact CNG regulators in India and to global markets. CNG regulators are used in CNG vehicles to depressurise and adjust the pressure of the gaseous fuel filled in the fuel tank.
