BorgWarner appoints a new Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Joseph Fadool as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer effective from July 1st 2024. Company Also Establishes New Business Unit Structure

Auburn Hills, United States- BorgWarner Inc., an American automotive and e-mobility supplier, they announced that Mr. Joseph Fadool, currently Vice President and President and GM of Emissions, Thermal, and Turbo Systems, will be promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, effective July 1, 2024. In his new role, Mr. Fadool will oversee company operations with business unit presidents reporting to him. He will report to Mr. Frédéric Lissalde, President and CEO.

BorgWarner announced a new business unit structure, effective July 1, 2024, aimed at enhancing the execution of their Charging Forward strategy, with Dr. Volker Weng leading Emissions, Thermal, and Turbo Systems; Ms. Isabelle McKenzie leading Drivetrain and Morse Systems; Dr. Stefan Demmerle leading PowerDrive Systems; and Henk Vanthournout leading Battery and Charging Systems.

Joseph Fadool joined BorgWarner in 2010 and has held several key positions, including President and GM of Emissions, Thermal, and Turbo Systems, Morse Systems, and Torq Transfer Systems. Before BorgWarner, he worked at Continental Automotive Systems and Ford Motor Company. He holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Lawrence Technological University and an M.S. in computer and electronic controls from Wayne State University.
