Greaves begins deliveries of Ampere Nexus

Bengaluru-Greaves Electric Mobility., an electric vehicle manufacture has begun delivering its new Ampere Nexus electric scooter. Launched in April at a starting price of 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), the first set of e-scooters was handed over to customers on Ampere's 16th anniversary, coinciding with World Environment Day on June 5. Deliveries have started in Bengaluru for now. Ampere's new Nexus is entirely designed and developed in India. The company has initiated delivery in phases, scheduled to continue throughout June.

The Ampere Nexus showcased as a concept at the 2023 Auto Expo is the brand's premier high-performance scooter. It features a 3 kWh LFP battery pack providing a claimed range of 136 km on a single charge, with a charging time of 3 hours and 22 minutes. Powering the rear wheel is a mid-mounted PMS motor delivering 3.3 kW (4.42 bhp) continuously and peaking at 4 kW (5.3 bhp). The scooter offers four riding modes, reaching a top speed of 93 kmph and a gradeability of 16 degrees.

The Ampere Nexus electric scooter comes with LED lighting, 12-inch alloy wheels, and a 7-inch TFT touchscreen dashboard featuring the brand's exclusive Nex.IO user interface. It's available in four color options: Zanskar Aqua, Indian Red, Lunar White, and Steel Grey. The scooter is offered in two variants: Standard and ST.
