Turin, Italy- Iveco S.p.A., has delivered the first 100 school buses as part of Brazil's New Growth Acceleration Program (PAC) in a ceremony attended by President Luis Inácio Lula da Silva and Minister of Education Camilo Santana. This initial delivery includes 50 ORE 2 (Rural School Bus 2) and 50 ORE 3 (Rural School Bus 3) vehicles. The Caminho da Escola program is expected to drive half of the bus industry's production in Brazil for 2024. Iveco will also supply over 2,000 buses to the education departments in Bahia, Mato Grosso, and Pernambuco.

Iveco Bus school buses, developed and produced in Brazil, are robust, comfortable, and spacious. The ORE2 model accommodates 44 students, while the ORE3 can hold up to 59. Both models feature FPT Industrial engines with 190 hp and 210 hp, respectively. These 100% accessible, air-conditioned buses ensure safe and cost-effective transport in all temperatures.
