Proterra and DTNA Powering Next-Gen Electric Buses and Trucks
Partnership will power Thomas Built Buses' electric Saf-T-Liner C2 Jouley and FCCC's electric MT50e with Proterra's batteries.
California, United States- Proterra Inc., an innovator in commercial vehicle battery technology and Daimler Truck North America (DTNA)., announced that Thomas Built Buses' next-gen all-electric Saf-T-Liner C2 Jouley school bus and Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation's all-electric MT50e delivery truck will be powered by Proterra's battery technology.
Since 2018, Proterra and Daimler Truck North America have partnered to electrify commercial vehicles using Proterra's battery technology. They have delivered over 1,000 electric school buses and delivery trucks across North America. Proterra's U.S.-made batteries offer top energy density, durability, performance, and safety, making them a premium choice for commercial vehicles.
