Horstmar, Germany- Schmitz Cargobull AG., a German semi-trailer manufacturer, has acquired a majority stake in Atlantis Global System (AGS)., a telematics solutions provider for cold chain monitoring. This acquisition enhances Schmitz Cargobull's telematics system for refrigerated semi-trailers with AGS's advanced technology. The AGS telematics system will be available immediately for all Schmitz Cargobull refrigerated trailers produced in Zaragoza, and data integration between Schmitz Cargobull Trailer Connect and AGS platforms is possible. AGS will continue to operate independently within the Schmitz Cargobull Group to ensure optimal customer service.

Schmitz Cargobull's refrigerated semi-trailers, now integrated with AGS technology, offer seamless integration into customers logistics systems for superior cold chain oversight. They are offering a special welcome package for Spanish customers, including a refrigerated box body, TrailerConnect telematics, and AGS temperature recorders, produced at the Zaragoza plant.
