Hiratsuka, Japan-  The Yokohama Rubber Co, Ltd., introduces the Geolandar CV 4S, a new all-season tire for crossover SUVs. The latest addition to the Geolandar brand of tires for SUVs and pickup trucks, the Geolandar CV 4S will be launched from this autumn in North America, Europe and then South Korea. The new tire will be available in 32 sizes, ranging from 245/45R20 103V to 235/65R17 108V.

The Geolandar CV 4S was created by Yokohama Rubber in response to the ever-increasing global demand for tyres for crossover SUVs. The tyres' remarkable performance in wet and snow situations, as well as on dry roads, is aided by a newly created asymmetric tread pattern and substance. All 32 sizes have acquired the M+S (mud & snow) designation, indicating that they will perform well in heavy snow, as well as the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake Symbol, which is given to tyres that meet international criteria for tyres used in severe snow.

Yokohama Rubber has been introducing new tyres, such as the new Geolandar CV 4S and Geolandar A/T XD launched this March in North America and Australia, and expanding the size lineups of Geolandar tyres already on the market as part of its "Mud Match" themed campaign aimed at increasing Geolandar tyre sales.
