ZM Trucks to Debut Five New Zero-Emission Models at ACT Expo

Torrance, United States- ZM Trucks., an innovative new-energy commercial vehicles, a division of ZO Motors, will debut five new models at the ACT Expo in Las Vegas, designed for Class 4, 5, 6, and "baby8" segments. These zero-emission work trucks are tailored to local market needs, assembled in North America, and comply with all regulations. They offer cost advantages over traditional diesel trucks and are set to be on sale by the end of 2024.

At ACT Expo (Booth #444), ZM Trucks will showcase Asian-market models: ZM4, ZM8, ZMx FCEV, and ZM22. North American versions will arrive later in 2024.

ZM4 is a Class 4 Battery Electric Van with a unibody design and a 132 kWh HV battery. It offers a 150-mile range, a 5,730 lbs payload, and a 497 cu ft cargo capacity. Equipped with a 130 kW E-Axle, it charges from 20% to 100% in 5.5 hours.

ZM8 is a Class 6 BEV with the largest cab in its class, featuring a flat floor and 80-inch roof height. It has a 160-mile range, a 12,900-lb payload, and a 200 kW E-Axle with a 132 kWh HV battery. Since early 2022, over 6,000 units have been used in Asia, accumulating 125 million miles. It includes ePTO options of 15 kW and 30 kW, and supports 18-22 ft box sizes.

ZM8 FCEV is a market-proven Class 6 Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle with over 2.5 million miles already accumulated. It offers a range of 186 miles (300 km) and a payload capacity of 13,560 lbs (6,150 kg). Powered by a 110 kW fuel cell, the ZM8 FCEV includes 26 lbs (12 kg) of hydrogen storage and features rapid refueling in just 5 minutes. It also comes with dual ePTO options of 15 kW and 30 kW.

ZM22: Class 8 BEV with proven drivetrain, 162 mi range, 34,060 lbs payload, 500 kW e-Axle, 264 kWh batteries. Dual ePTO options, 240 kW DC charging (20%-80% in 36 min), and box sizes of 22' - 26'.

ZM22 FCEV: Class 8 FCEV with 311 mi range, 34,720 lbs payload, 200 kW fuel cell, 60 kWh battery. Dual ePTO options, 66 lbs hydrogen storage, and 11-min rapid refueling.
