Engcon DC3 Compatible with Caterpillar NG Excavators

Stromsund, Sweden - Engcon AB., a tiltrotators manufacturer, has announced the compatibility of its next-generation DC3 control system with Caterpillar Next Generation (NG) wheeled excavators. From February 2026, engcon will offer seamless tiltrotator installation on Cat NG wheeled excavators, further expanding global access to advanced attachment technology.

Building on existing compatibility with crawler excavators, Caterpillar’s M314 NG through M322 NG wheeled excavator models will now support rapid installation of engcon tiltrotators. This integration is enabled through engcon’s DC3 control system in combination with Caterpillar’s Software Enabled Attachment (SEA) technology, allowing a streamlined, OEM-aligned installation process.

DC3 is engcon’s latest control system platform, developed with completely new hardware and software architecture. Designed to work seamlessly with machine manufacturer interfaces, DC3 significantly simplifies installation compared to traditional aftermarket solutions, while ensuring full access to machine and attachment functionalities.
