Mumbai - Mahindra Group., a tractor manufacturer, has appointed Harsh K. Rai as the Chief Executive Officer of its Farm Division and Gromax. Rai has returned to India and feels deeply connected to his roots as takes on this new responsibility.
In his initial weeks, Rai met with company teams, business partners and farmers across different regions. Through these interactions, he gained a closer understanding of Mahindra’s strong relationship with the farming community. He noted the deep engagement between the company and farmers, particularly in addressing practical, on-ground agricultural needs.
Speaking about the opportunity, Rai highlighted Mahindra’s long-standing presence in the agriculture sector and its foundation of trust built over the years. He acknowledged the company’s consistent efforts to support farmers through innovation, improved mechanization and customer-focused solutions.
With Rai at the helm, Mahindra’s Farm Division and Gromax are expected to continue strengthening their role in advancing farm mechanization and delivering sustained value to farmers across India.
