Bengaluru – KisanKraft Limited., has entered the electric farm equipment segment with the launch of the E-Inter-Cultivator and E-Self Propelled Reaper, the first products in its new range of battery-powered agricultural machines designed for small and medium farmers.

The company said the electric machines can reduce operating costs by over 90% compared with similar petrol-powered equipment while addressing rising fuel expenses, maintenance costs and labour shortages.

Built on a dedicated electric platform, both machines have been tested across different soil and field conditions in India for performance, reliability and durability. The E-Inter-Cultivator has also received approval from the Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute (FMTTI).

The E-Inter-Cultivator is designed for weeding and intercultural operations, covering around one acre per hour with up to 3.5 hours of operation per charge. The E-Self Propelled Reaper is designed for harvesting paddy, wheat, millets and soybean, offering about four hours of runtime and a harvesting capacity of around one acre per hour.

The machines feature removable lithium iron phosphate batteries, IP67-rated motors and controllers, low-maintenance electric drivetrains and are future-ready for IoT-based monitoring features.

KisanKraft plans to expand the platform with additional electric farm equipment, including boom sprayers. The new machines are now available through the company's dealer network across India.
