Canada, USA - Typhon Machinery., a construction machinery, has expanded its presence in the U.S. construction equipment market with four new compact machines under its Blue Series lineup.
The company is targeting customers through a direct-to-consumer online sales model, competitive pricing and free nationwide shipping from its U.S.-based warehouse. The expanded Blue Series includes a new mini excavator, skid steer loader, compact utility loader and wheel loader, along with Typhon’s existing range of rollers, forklifts, scissor lifts and attachments.
Among the new models is the Typhon Terror XIX Storm Mini Excavator, a 4,000-pound machine designed for landscaping and construction work in confined areas. It features a swing boom and retractable tracks that can adjust from 39 to 51 inches.
The excavator is powered by a 20.4-horsepower Kubota D902 engine and receives an upgraded triple hydraulic pump that Typhon says can increase hydraulic flow by up to 15%. A two-way relief valve helps protect the rotary motor from excessive back pressure.
Operator improvements include pilot controls, a flat-floor cab layout for additional legroom and an upgraded hydraulic control for the dozer blade. Standard equipment includes a 16.3-inch bucket, canopy, toolbox, LED lighting and a digital manual.
Typhon has also introduced the Stomp 509 Skid Steer, powered by a 25-horsepower Kubota D1105 diesel engine. With an operating weight of around 3,100 pounds, the compact machine is designed for tight jobsites and can pivot 360 degrees within its own footprint.
The latest product additions strengthen Typhon’s compact equipment portfolio as the Singapore-based manufacturer looks to expand its customer base in the competitive U.S. construction machinery market.
