      Yokohama, Japan - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd, an automobile manufacturer has unveiled the all-new Tekton at its world premiere in India, marking a key milestone in the company’s transformation strategy and highlighting India’s growing role in Nissan’s global plans.

      The launch supports the Re strategy, focusing on portfolio expansion, strategic partnerships and market growth.

      Developed and manufactured in India in partnership with Renault, the Tekton is designed for both domestic and international markets. Nissan plans to export the model to 50 markets across the Middle East and Africa, strengthening India’s position as a key manufacturing and export hub.

      Mr. Guillaume Cartier, Chief Performance Officer, Nissan, said: "We are building a stronger and more competitive Nissan in India. As we continue to strengthen our SUV-led portfolio and sharpen our market focus, the world premiere of the all-new Nissan Tekton reflects our ambition to leverage strategic partnerships to expand our market coverage. Tekton is a clear expression of how Nissan is transforming with purpose - towards a more competitive, diverse portfolio."

      The all-new Nissan Tekton plays an important role in Nissan’s growth strategy by expanding the company’s SUV portfolio and strengthening its presence in India’s competitive automotive market. The model also supports Nissan’s wider plan to grow in key international regions, especially across Africa and the Middle East.

      Developed in partnership with Renault and manufactured in Chennai, the Tekton is designed to serve both Indian customers and global export markets. The SUV combines bold styling inspired by Nissan’s Patrol heritage with modern features such as Google-powered connectivity, advanced safety technologies and a spacious, premium cabin focused on comfort, practicality and everyday usability.

      The Tekton also highlights India’s growing importance in Nissan’s global operations. By engineering and manufacturing the model in India for domestic and export markets, Nissan is positioning the country as both a major growth market and a strategic manufacturing hub for its future product strategy.
