Greater Noida - International Tractors Limited (ITL)., the parent company of Sonalika and Solis Tractors, has reportedly applied for environmental clearance to establish an Engineering, Research and Development centre in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
The proposed facility is expected to be developed on 25 acres at the Integrated Industrial Township Greater Noida Limited. The project would involve an estimated investment of around US$64.3 million (₹620 crore) and could create more than 1,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities.
The planned centre is expected to strengthen ITL’s engineering, product development, testing and research capabilities. It may support the development of new tractors, agricultural machinery and advanced technologies for domestic and international markets.
The investment could also help Sonalika accelerate the development of future tractor models and improve its ability to meet changing customer requirements across different agricultural applications.
The project is currently at the environmental-clearance stage. ITL has not yet issued an official announcement confirming the investment or providing details about the construction and completion timeline.
