West Fargo, North Dakota – Doosan Bobcat., President Mike Ballweber will retire from the company effective July 31. Mr. Scott Park, chief executive officer and vice chairman of parent company Doosan Bobcat, will serve as interim president of the North American business until a permanent successor is appointed.
Ballweber joined Bobcat in 1998 and was appointed president of its North American operations in 2019. During his tenure, he played a key role in strengthening the company’s dealer network, expanding its equipment portfolio and advancing product innovation initiatives.
The leadership transition comes as Bobcat continues to record steady financial growth. The compact equipment manufacturer generated approximately $1.5 billion in revenue during the first quarter, representing a 6.2% year-on-year increase.
Revenue from North America rose 3% compared with the same period last year, while first-quarter operating profit increased 2.6% to $141 million.
