HORSCH unveils the new Kredo HD power harrow, updated for modern tillage and seeding applications.
Date: April 4, 2025
Schwandorf, Germany - HORSCH Maschinen GmbH., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced a new generation of its Kredo HD power harrow, enhancing its existing technology to meet modern land preparation needs. The updated machine is designed for use with the Express KR, Versa KR, Versa SW, and Versa SL seed units, and can also operate independently for tillage purposes.
Available in working widths of 3, 3.5, 4, and 6 meters, the Kredo HD power harrow features rotors designed to provide maximum clearance, even in stony conditions. The 3-meter model includes 10 rotors and is built for exceptional stability, even in the toughest field conditions.
The 3-meter Kredo HD can be paired with tractors of up to 300 hp, thanks to its robust 8 mm thick hollow profile trough, which minimizes the sealing surface. The rotor sets are mounted from underneath, allowing the tine carrier, rotor kit, and shaft, supported by 60 mm and 70 mm taper roller bearings, to be easily disassembled for maintenance.
The new Kredo HD power harrow from Horsch is built for durability, precision, and flexibility, making it ideal for modern land preparation. It features the well-known Horsch quick-change tines, available in both drag and grip variants. For even greater durability and efficiency, carbide-coated tines can be fitted. These not only extend the service life of the machine but also help maintain a consistent working depth across different soil conditions.
Operators can easily control the intensity of seedbed cultivation by adjusting the driving speed and the rotor speed, allowing the machine to adapt to varying field requirements.
One of the standout features of the Kredo HD is its simple and user-friendly depth adjustment system. The working depth can be changed from the outside, and the clearly marked lasered hole and position pattern make it easy to identify and maintain the correct setting over time. Additionally, the levelling bar, now mounted on the packer roller for improved performance, can be quickly adjusted with the universal tool, streamlining setup and operation in the field.
