South Wales, Australia – ShoulderMaster., a construction equipment manufacturer, has unveiled the CP1000, a groundbreaking new center paver attachment designed specifically for compact track loaders. The CP1000 is billed as the world’s first center paver of its kind, redefining compact paving solutions for the construction industry.
Developed to streamline asphalt and gravel applications on tight job sites, the CP1000 targets projects such as utility trenches, micro-patching, and narrow-width paving. With an 88-cubic-foot hopper, the unit is capable of receiving material from conventional dump trucks. Asphalt is conveyed via a chain-driven, heat-rated belt for reliable material flow.
A standout feature is its variable screed width, which adjusts from 12.5 to 40 inches. Additionally, the screed height is hydraulically controlled and ranges from flush with the pavement to 4 inches above, providing exceptional flexibility for a variety of paving conditions.
Compact yet robust, the CP1000 measures 91.3 inches in width, 130.7 inches in length, and stands 69.7 inches tall. According to ShoulderMaster, the attachment’s size and design make it easy to transport between jobs, while significantly lowering both capital outlay and maintenance compared to dedicated paving machines.
Operational safety and visibility are enhanced through two integrated wireless cameras feeding into an in-cab monitor. The system also offers wireless remote-control capabilities, helping operators manage tasks more efficiently and safely. The attachment connects via a universal skid steer quick coupler, simplifying installation and compatibility. It requires an optimal hydraulic flow of approximately 21 gallons per minute.
With its launch, the CP1000 is set to bring a new level of versatility and cost-efficiency to paving contractors, particularly those working on small-scale or specialized projects.
