Sanghai, China – smart Europe GmbH., a car manufacturer, has unveiled its expanded premium vehicle lineup at the 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (booth 4A03), headlined by the global debut of the smart #3 Keith Haring Art Car and the China launches of the all-new smart #5 BRABUS and smart #5 Premium+ AWD. Alongside these launches, smart has officially rolled out its new global brand campaign, "open your mind Experiences", inspired by the theme "Power of Firsts"—aimed at encouraging first-time interactions with the smart brand and its innovations.

Making its world premiere, the smart #3 Keith Haring Art Car showcases a creative collaboration that merges contemporary art with automotive design. Inspired by Keith Haring’s bold and colorful visual language, the Art Car transforms the smart #3 into a moving artwork. Iconic motifs, vibrant colors, and expressive lines span the exterior, while the cabin features unique Haring-themed elements like customized headrests and a frosted sunroof, underlining smart’s commitment to creativity, diversity, and optimism.

After its world debut in Milan, the smart #5 BRABUS officially launches in China, priced from RMB 329,900. Designed for performance and style, this high-powered electric SUV features aggressive 21-inch BRABUS Monoblock Z wheels, red brake calipers, and a refined cabin with DINAMICA® seats, an Alcantara steering wheel with illuminated branding, and a customizable Ambient Light+ system. The premium experience is further enhanced by the Sennheiser Signature Sound System.

Under the hood, the BRABUS variant delivers 475 kW of peak power and sprints from 0–100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. Built on an advanced 800-volt platform, it supports ultra-fast DC charging (10% to 80% in 15 minutes) and houses a 100 kWh battery with up to 660 km range (CLTC).

Joining the spotlight is the all-new smart #5 Premium+ AWD, tailored for all-terrain adventures and priced from RMB 279,900. Featuring a versatile air suspension system with 95mm height adjustability (from -50mm to +45mm), it offers up to 231mm ground clearance and optimized ride comfort via a high-speed CCD damping system.

With dual motors, it achieves a 0–100 km/h sprint in 4.9 seconds and effortlessly handles steep 45° inclines. An intelligent AWD system ensures smooth shifts between 2WD and 4WD, while five off-road modes—Adaptive, Sand, Snow, Mud, and Rock—provide optimal performance across diverse terrains. Enhanced door seals allow it to wade through water depths of up to 500mm, making it a capable companion for off-grid exploration.

smart’s newly launched global brand campaign, "open your mind Experiences", expands on its revitalized brand philosophy introduced in 2024. Celebrating the "Power of Firsts," the campaign is designed to spark new beginnings and first-time experiences with the smart brand, inviting global audiences to embrace urban mobility in imaginative, inclusive ways.

As part of its bold expansion, smart plans to enter over 10 new markets in 2025, bringing its presence to 37 countries worldwide. Over the next five years, smart aims to collaborate with partners and customers globally to further its mission—inviting all to truly "open your mind" to a future of inspired mobility.
