Chennai- Citroën India, under its Citroën 2.0 “Shift Into the New” strategy, has unveiled the New Citroën C3X range, marking a bold evolution of its popular SUV-inspired car. With 15 new intelligent features, the updated model enhances comfort, technology, and safety while retaining its position as the most accessible offering in its segment.
At the forefront of innovation is Citroën’s Proxi-Sense Passive Entry and Push Start system, a segment-first feature that delivers true hands-free convenience by automatically unlocking or locking the vehicle when the key is nearby. Complementing this are new features such as Cruise Control with Speed Limiter, HALO 360-degree camera with seven views, auto-dimming IRVM, LED Vision projector headlamps and fog lamps, and LED interior lighting, all designed to elevate everyday driving.
Powered by two dynamic engine options the 1.2L PureTech 82 and the 1.2L PureTech 110 Turbo, paired with 5/6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmissions — the new C3 delivers strong performance with ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 19.3 km/l and acceleration from 0–100 km/h in under 10 seconds.
Inside, the C3 continues to set benchmarks with best-in-class cabin space, including 1,378 mm rear shoulder room, theatre-style rear seating, and a generous 315-litre boot. Its 26 cm (10.25”) Citroën Connect Infotainment System with wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ ensures seamless digital integration, while Citroën Advanced Comfort suspension provides a “flying carpet” ride tailored to Indian roads. A tropicalized AC system designed for Indian summers further enhances passenger comfort.
Safety remains a priority with a comprehensive suite of features, including 6 airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD, Hill Hold Assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, TPMS, perimetric alarm, high-speed alerts, and speed-sensitive auto door locks.
The new C3 range will be available for display from mid-August 2025, with bookings now open and deliveries commencing in the first week of September 2025. Customers can choose from 5 monotone colors, 2 dual-tone combinations, and 3 interior options, allowing for extensive personalization.
