East Yorkshire, England – Agriweld Ltd., an agricultural equipment manufacturer, has launched the new Agri-Press, a trailed cultivation and consolidation system engineered to deliver effective soil movement, thorough mixing and consistent seedbed preparation in a single pass. The machine targets growers looking to cut down on field passes while maintaining high-quality cultivation results.
Built on a heavy-duty trailed chassis, the Agri-Press is available in working widths ranging from 3 m to 8 m and is recommended for tractors with 300 hp and above. Designed to perform across a wide range of soil types and conditions, the machine is suitable for both primary and secondary cultivation applications.
At the heart of the Agri-Press is a three-stage cultivation system. The front working section can be specified with two rows of concave discs, two rows of pigtail spring tines, or three rows of protected shearbolt tines, allowing operators to tailor the setup to different soil structures, residue levels and working depths.
Following this, spring tine paddles work to level the surface, break down clods and evenly distribute soil across the full working width. At the rear, ARS press roller rings provide uniform consolidation and leave a ridged finish designed to improve moisture retention and enhance seedbed quality.
A range of options is available, including eradicator tines for compaction relief, enclosed spoke rollers to minimise residue build-up, and a rear towing hitch for added field versatility. Thanks to its modular design, the Agri-Press can be easily reconfigured as farming practices and conditions change.
According to Agriweld, the new Agri-Press helps growers increase work rates, lower operating costs and achieve consistent cultivation performance with a single, adaptable machine.
