Pune - Deere & Company., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, unveiled its 130 HP 5M Series 5130M tractor at the Power & Technology Show in India, highlighting new technologies aimed at improving farm productivity and reducing input costs for Indian farmers. The new tractor is designed to support modern agricultural operations requiring higher power, efficiency, and versatility across diverse farming conditions.
Alongside the tractor launch, the company introduced several technology solutions including a Front Hitch and Front PTO application for the 5130M, the 5E AutoTrac straight-row guidance system, GreenSystem Link connectivity, and a radial tyre upgrade for the 5405 and 5075E models to enhance performance and operational efficiency.
Mr. Rajesh Sinha, Managing Director and Country Manager for John Deere India, said, “The company’s presence in the country spans manufacturing, research and development, engineering, global IT services, supply chain management, and road construction equipment operations, highlighting India’s strategic importance to its global business.”
John Deere also noted that products manufactured in India are exported to more than 110 countries, while the company continues to collaborate with academic institutions and industry stakeholders to support India’s long-term agricultural sustainability goals.
