Hasbergen, Germany - Amazone H. Dreyer GmbH & Co. KG., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, will preview its new Condor 02 trailed tine drill at Cereals 2026, giving UK farmers an early look at the machine ahead of its official launch. The new drill will be available in 8 m and 9 m working widths and is designed for high-output, low-disturbance crop establishment.
The Condor 02 builds on the original Condor tine drill concept, which was introduced in 2013 for large-scale direct drilling. While the earlier Condor range was offered in working widths up to 15 m, the new Condor 02 brings the same direct-drilling approach into a more compact format.
Amazone says the machine is aimed at large-acreage farms that require accurate seed placement, consistent depth control and strong daily output. Its narrow ConTeC coulters are designed to minimise soil movement while maintaining accurate placement across uneven ground.
A new rear harrow option will also be shown publicly for the first time at Cereals 2026. This feature is intended to improve the seedbed finish and extend the drill’s suitability into min-till conditions as well as direct drilling.
Other key features include a triple split hopper, precision metering and Amazone’s MultiSwitch segmented distribution head, which allows individual row shut-off. These features are designed to improve seed placement accuracy, reduce overlap and support efficient operation across different establishment systems.
With the Condor 02, Amazone is positioning the machine as a compact, high-capacity direct drill for growers looking to improve output while keeping soil disturbance low.
