Utah, USA - Asphalt Zipper, Inc., a compact equipment manufacturer, has introduced two new low-profile reclaimer attachments for compact track loaders, expanding its road repair and trenching equipment lineup with a more compact solution for smaller jobs.

The new 300XLP and 420XLP are designed to handle both trenching and milling applications. The company says the attachments provide high productivity while offering a more practical and cost-effective alternative to larger self-propelled reclaimers.

Both models are powered by their own 130-horsepower Cummins Tier 4 Final diesel engines, allowing them to operate independently of the host machine’s hydraulics and engine. They can cut up to 10 inches deep in a single pass. The 300XLP features a 30-inch cutting width, while the 420XLP offers a 42-inch cutting width.

According to Asphalt Zipper, the new reclaimers can be used for utility trenching, surface milling, full-depth reclamation, and soil stabilization. The low-profile design is intended to improve visibility, while the engine delivers strong torque and cutting performance.

The attachments can help contractors carry out milling work in-house, reduce reliance on subcontractors, and lower operating costs. Additional benefits include faster operation than hand tools, the ability to reuse reclaimed material as backfill or base, and easier operator training.

The attachments can be operated through a wireless control box inside the cab, a handheld remote, or a side control panel. They are compatible with compact track loaders weighing at least 10,000 pounds.
