Racine, Wisconsin - Case IH., an agricultural machinery brand under CNH Industrial America LLC., has introduced new technology packages for its Optum tractor range, which includes three models with rated power outputs from 271hp to 340hp. These upgrades are designed to make it easier for customers to select features that align with their operational needs while enhancing usability, efficiency, and future resale value.
A key update is the redesigned joystick integrated into the Multicontroller armrest, now capable of proportional control of both front and rear linkages, improving ease of use and precision.
Following the approach taken with Case IH’s Quadtrac/Steiger, Magnum, and Puma 185-260 series, the Optum range now offers tiered technology packages. These can be matched with the existing Advanced or Professional specification options, simplifying the configuration process and allowing greater flexibility based on customer requirements.
All technology tiers include the Pro 1200 touchscreen display mounted in the armrest, along with a readiness package for a second display. Higher-level tech packages offer increased automation features and higher-precision AccuGuide auto-steering capabilities.
All new Optum models now come with Connectivity Included as standard, providing lifetime access to connected services via the onboard modem, without any recurring subscription fees. Moreover, adding a new Optum to a customer account may allow qualifying existing machines to be upgraded to Connectivity Included at no extra cost.
Through FieldOps, Case IH’s integrated data management app and web platform, users gain near real-time access to machine performance and agronomic data. This enables efficient planning, monitoring, and operation across the entire farm, both in the field and remotely.
With these updates, Case IH continues to push for smarter, more connected farming by equipping its Optum range with the tools and flexibility needed to maximize productivity and ease of operation.
