To capitalize on this momentum, Cleartrip introduced the ‘Bus Pass’, an industry-first initiative designed to make bus travel more affordable. Cleartrip's consumer data reveals that the bus category has the highest number of frequent travelers, with 32% of users repeating bookings in the past three months. Notably, 15% of users have booked at least three times within this period. Bus travelers are highly value-conscious, with 75% using discount coupons during bookings. Popular routes with high repeat bookings include Indore-Bhopal, Bengaluru-Hyderabad, Indore-Pune, Chennai-Madurai, and Coimbatore-Bengaluru.
Customers can purchase a Bus Pass for ₹150 during their bus booking, offering immediate savings of ₹100 on orders of ₹300 or more, in addition to other coupons. The pass allows for up to 5 discounted bookings, enabling savings of up to ₹500. It remains valid for 90 days from the date of purchase.
