Bengaluru - The Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) is hosting EXCON 2025, South Asia’s largest construction equipment exhibition, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The event reaffirms India’s growing stature as a global hub for construction equipment manufacturing and innovation, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers under one roof.

Indian OEMs Showcases

Schwing Stetter (India) Private Limited focuses on advanced concrete solutions and productivity-driven technology, showcasing the SLM 4600 self-loading mixer with up to 20 m³/hr output, the SP 4507 concrete pump delivering 45 m³/hr at 70 bar, the massive M70 Boom Pump for mega-infrastructure with 70 m vertical reach, the compact CP 30 Batching Plant (30 m³/hr), and AI/ML-enabled precast systems, enhancing speed, safety, and automation in concrete construction.

Action Construction Equipment Limited (ACE) highlighted its capabilities in material handling, lift solutions, and general construction equipment. The display included NX Series pick-and-carry cranes (15–25 t), the AX124 backhoe loader with a 76 hp BS-V engine for versatile digging and loading, FX Series forklifts (3–5 t) featuring hydrostatic transmission, and the TC 5540 tower crane with a 55 m jib and advanced stability control, optimized for high-rise and urban job sites.

BEML Limited emphasized mining-grade and heavy-duty earthmoving equipment, presenting the BG 605I Motor Grader with precision hydraulics, the BD85 Dozer (230 hp, 24 t) with a 7.8 m³ blade for tough push operations, the BH100 Hydraulic Excavator (100-tonne class, 5.6 m³ bucket), and the DT 100 Dump Truck with 100-tonne payload and enhanced braking systems — reinforcing its role in major national infrastructure and mining projects.

Tata Motors Limited showcases a strong commercial-vehicle lineup demonstrating leadership in heavy-haulage, zero-emission mobility, and high-payload mining logistics. Key highlights included the Prima 3540.K AutoShift with a 375 hp Cummins engine for deep mining, the battery-electric Prima E.28K tipper for zero-emission material movement, the Signa 2820.TK — India’s first 28-tonne CNG tipper, the Signa 4832.TK — the country’s first 48-tonne, 5-axle tipper, the Prima 3532.TK with a 26 m³ segment-leading load body, and the Prima E.55S electric prime mover with up to 350 km range, supporting sustainable long-distance logistics.

L&T Construction Equipment Limited showcased robust machinery engineered for productivity, reliability, and fast project execution. Displays included the 9020 Wheel Loader (200 hp, 3.5 m³ bucket) with rapid cycle time, the 4910 Hydraulic Excavator (45 t class) with extended reach for mining operations, and the 1190 Compactor (11 t) featuring a dual-vibration system for superior ground compaction.

Mother India Forming Pvt. Ltd. (MIF) highlighted its role as a key structural-component provider for OEMs, showcasing cold roll-formed cabins made from high-strength lightweight steel, corrosion-resistant tubular profiles used in vehicle chassis, and durable welded assemblies designed for heavy-duty CE applications, enabling safer and modular machine designs.

JCB India Limited extended its leadership in backhoe loaders and earthmoving machinery. Highlights included the 3DX Plus Backhoe Loader (92 hp), the NXT 215LC Excavator (21.5 t class) with reinforced boom and arm, and the 455ZX Wheel Loader (18 t class, 3.5 m³ bucket), emphasizing high productivity, strength, and operational economy.

International OEMs Showcases

Volvo Construction Equipment AB focused on fuel-efficient, telematics-enabled machinery, including the EC210D Excavator (22 t class, 167 hp), the SD110C Soil Compactor (11 t, 30 Hz vibration), and the L90H Wheel Loader (15 t, 2.5 m³ bucket), highlighting strengths in fleet monitoring, engine efficiency, and durability for global job-site demands.

Hyundai Construction Equipment showcased versatility across heavy and compact categories with the HX220L Excavator (170 hp, 22 t), the HL960 Wheel Loader (19 t, 3.3 m³ bucket, 180 kN breakout force), and the R35Z-9 Mini Excavator featuring zero-tail swing, designed for urban and restricted-space environments.

Komatsu Ltd. introduced fuel-efficient and electric-ready equipment, such as the PC210-10M0 Excavator (21 t), the GD535-6 Motor Grader with advanced hydraulic control, the WA200-8 Wheel Loader (11 t class) focused on operator comfort, and the new electric mini-excavator portfolio (PC20E-6 / PC26E-6 / PC33E-6) powering the transition toward zero-emission construction.

SANY Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. featured solutions aimed at reliability, performance, and electrification, including the SY215C Excavator (21.5 t, high breakout force), the STG140C Motor Grader for road construction, the SSR120C-8 Soil Compactor (12 t, optimized vibration control), and the SY155U Electric Excavator (15 t class), underscoring SANY’s expansion in clean-energy equipment.
