Hangzhou, China- Geely Motor Philippines Corp. (GMP), the newly formed subsidiary of Geely Automobile International Corporation (GAIC), marked its relaunch with a grand event showcasing three high-value products, the Geely EX5, Emgrand and Coolray, and improved operations in the country. This brand relaunch signifies Geely's commitment to the Philippine market and its ambition to recapture the hearts of Filipino car buyers.

Mr. Will Wan, Deputy General Manager of Geely Motor Philippines, said, “Philippines has always been an important market for Geely. By establishing a subsidiary to achieve direct operations, this not only marks the beginning of a new strategic layout for Geely in the Philippine market but also provides us with even stronger momentum for growth. Through this strategic enhancement, we can now respond more rapidly to market dynamics while gaining deeper insights into local consumer preferences, ultimately elevating both our operational efficiency and customer experience.”

During the event, Geely announced some of their key steps in improving operations in the Philippine market: In a strategic move to minimize downtime for customers and ensure timely access to genuine parts, Geely Motor Philippines opened a new parts center in Cabuyao, Laguna. The 4,700-square-meter facility will enhance after-sales service by streamlining the distribution of genuine Geely parts across the country. 

During the launch, Geely also announced the GEELY GO user initiative reflecting Geely's commitment to providing an exceptional ownership experience. Adhering to Geely's mission to "create an inclusive mobility ecosystem that exceeds expectations," the program prioritizes Geely Owners by seamlessly connecting resources from sales, after-sales, and brand segments to optimizing the entire vehicle lifecycle experience that covers every mile of driving.

The highlight of the launch event was the simultaneous unveiling of three new models: the Geely EX5, a benchmark for pure electric SUVs; the Emgrand, a premium sedan; and the Coolray, a high-performance intelligent SUV. Sales Manager from Geely Motor Philippines provided an in-depth presentation of each model’s core strengths, utilizing detailed specifications and real-life application scenarios to fully demonstrate Geely’s precise understanding of the diverse needs of Filipino consumers.

Looking ahead, Geely Motor Philippines will continue to deliver products that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and innovation. In 2025, the company plans to introduce one new model per quarter to address customer demands. The brand has established over 900 sales and service outlets in 80+ countries worldwide, covering core markets in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, Southeast Asia, Africa, and beyond, offering a range of globally best-selling models. By 2025, Geely will further expand its global network, aiming to establish another 250 sales and service outlets, thereby building a robust bridge connecting with customers.
