Hero MotoCorp debuts with two new models

ITALY /INDIA- Hero MotoCorp, a two-wheeler manufacturer, has officially announced its entry into the Republic of Italy, marking its expansion into the company’s 49th international market. With over 125 million customers worldwide and more than 24 years as the global two-wheeler leader, this move strengthens Hero’s growing international presence.

Hero MotoCorp continues to invest in future-ready mobility with two advanced R&D centres in Germany and India. In Italy, product distribution will be handled by Pelpi International, one of the country’s largest two-wheeler distributors. The rollout will begin with more than 36 dealers in key cities, gradually expanding to 54, supported by a broader network of over 160 service and sales points.

Hero enters Italy with its global brand philosophy, “You Are Limitless,” celebrating riders who seek diverse experiences and chart their own paths. This spirit of freedom mirrors Hero’s own achievements, including becoming the youngest team to earn a Dakar Rally podium finish in just seven years—an accomplishment rooted in grit and exploration.

Three flagship motorcycles form the company’s debut lineup in Italy: the Xpulse 200 4V, Xpulse 200 4V Pro, and Hunk 440. All three models are Euro 5+ compliant and tailored for a new generation of riders who value versatility, performance, and movement. The adventurous Xpulse models inspire discovery, while the bold Hunk 440 empowers riders to live life on their own terms.

The Hunk 440 joins the L3e-A2 segment with an engine producing 27 BHP and 36 Nm of torque, designed for both city rides and highway performance. A high-tensile steel trellis frame ensures stability, while dual-channel ABS, KYB USD forks, a connected TFT display, LED lighting, and wide radial tyres add capability and premium appeal. Priced at €3,990 (incl. VAT), it will be available in Twilight Blue and Phantom Black.

The Xpulse 200 family brings together daily usability and off-road potential. The top-spec Xpulse 200 4V Pro delivers 18.9 BHP, 17.35 Nm, and comes equipped with three ABS modes—Road, Off-road, and Rally—along with long-travel suspension tailored for European terrain. Features such as an inverted LCD display, Bluetooth navigation, LED projector headlamp, and advanced rider aids make it a capable adventure companion. Prices start at €2,990 for the Xpulse 200 4V and €3,190 for the Xpulse 200 4V Pro.

To reinforce its commitment to reliability and customer satisfaction, Hero MotoCorp is offering a 5-year warranty in Italy as part of its special launch program—combining the standard 3-year warranty with an additional 2-year extension.
