Grangemouth, Scotland —Jarvie Plant Ltd., a plant hire leader, has invested in 168 new JCB machines supplied by long-time partner Scot JCB, marking another milestone in its 65-year history of steady growth and reliability.

The order includes excavators, backhoe loaders, telehandlers, site dumpers, compaction rollers, and 73 generators, strengthening Jarvie’s heavy plant and power solutions divisions.

Mr. David Jarvie, Managing Director, said, “Scot JCB isn’t just a supplier - it’s a partner. We know we’ll get straight answers, reliable service and the right support whenever we need it. That trust is invaluable. With Scot JCB’s depot network mirroring our own and the ability to source machines, finance, parts, and service, this partnership is incredibly important to us.”

The company continues to lead in safety and innovation, equipping its fleet with AI-based Safety Shield systems and JCB LiveLink technology for real-time performance and emissions data. Finance support from JCB Finance made the large-scale order possible.

Mr. Drew Grant, Plant and Service Director, said, “Our clients increasingly need to report on CO₂ emissions and demonstrate efficiency. LiveLink allows us to give them that data, while also helping us prevent faults before they happen. In critical areas like power generation, that reliability makes all the difference.”

With over 2,500–3,000 machines in operation, Jarvie Plant remains focused on sustainable growth, embracing new technologies such as hydrogen-powered JCBs while upholding its core values of safety, quality, and service.
