New Delhi- Matter Motor Works Pvt Ltd., participated in a closed-door leadership roundtable held in New Delhi, where industry leaders discussed managing digital transformation in the evolving technology era. The meeting brought together founders, CTOs, and senior technology executives from the automotive sector to share views on the future of mobility and software-driven vehicles.
Mr. Mohal Lalbhai, Founder and Group CEO, said, “the shift taking place in the automotive industry, explaining that vehicles are moving from mechanical systems to electric platforms and now toward software-defined mobility. He noted that modern vehicles are increasingly built around intelligent systems that can improve over time through digital updates.”
During the discussion, the company introduced its concept of AI-Defined Vehicles (AI.DV), where software, sensors, and onboard electronics are integrated through a central computing architecture. This setup allows vehicles to receive updates, enable connected services, and support new features after delivery, while also helping manufacturers simplify hardware and focus more on software-based capabilities.
The company’s electric motorcycle Matter AERA was also highlighted during the session. The model combines electric power with a geared transmission system, designed to deliver a traditional riding feel along with modern digital features.
Company representatives said the firm develops key technologies in-house, including motors, transmission systems, battery management, and connected vehicle platforms. This approach helps improve performance, efficiency, and long-term product development.
The discussion also covered the growing role of industrial IoT, model-based engineering, and connected ecosystems in vehicle development. Intelligent systems are expected to allow future vehicles to analyze rider behavior, adjust performance, and predict maintenance needs.
The roundtable gave industry leaders a platform to discuss how automotive companies can adapt to rapid technology changes, with a focus on combining strong engineering with advanced software and digital systems.
