Austria, Europe - POTTINGER Landtechnik GmbH., an agricultural machinery manufacturer’s, AEROSEM FDD features a new coulter rail with 15 cm row spacing and a pressurized front hopper. The innovative AEROSEM seed drill combines high output with versatility, ensuring precise seed placement with its universal metering system and DUAL DISC coulters. The front hopper also allows for simultaneous sowing of two different components, enhancing efficiency and flexibility.

POTTINGER expands its pneumatic implement-mounted seed drills with the AEROSEM FDD front hopper model, available in 5.0m and 6.0m working widths. The coulter rail design aligns with the updated LION V folding power harrows. Row spacings of 12.5 or 15.5 cm are possible with the LION V 5040 (5.0m), 15.0 cm with the LION V 6040 (6.0m), and 12.5 cm with the heavy-duty LION V MASTER.

The AEROSEM FDD, combined with the LION V power harrow series, offers high output and versatility. Its compact design improves machine organization, visibility, and weight distribution. The dual metering system, IDS distribution head, and quick-attach coulter rail enhance the seed drill's flexibility for various applications.

The simultaneous application of seed and fertilizer during drilling has become standard for early plant nutrition. To accommodate higher metering flow rates, longer conveying paths, and faster speeds, a pressurized system for the front hopper is now necessary. This system allows larger quantities of seed or fertilizer to be conveyed over longer distances, with various hopper volumes and metering system options to meet diverse field needs.
