Boulogne-Billancourt, France - Renault Group an automobile manufacturer has announced the appointment of Quitterie de Pelleport, currently Chief Legal Officer, as General Secretary, effective July 1, 2026, as CEO François Provost continues the company’s transformation one year after taking charge.

Renault Group said the creation of the General Secretary role highlights its focus on strong governance, sustainable performance, and better preparedness for major regulatory, industrial, environmental, and social changes. Under Quitterie de Pelleport’s leadership, the General Secretariat will oversee key functions including Legal, Audit, Risk, Ethics & Compliance, Prevention and Protection, Sustainability, Strategic Partnerships, Defense activities, and Circular Economy activities through The Future Is Neutral.

Renault Group also announced the appointment of Sandra Gomez as Chief Product & Program Officer, following the departure of Josep-Maria Recasens. Sandra Gomez and Chief Strategy Officer Saad Khaled will report directly to CEO François Provost, who will oversee the company’s strategy and futuREady product plan, which includes 36 new models by 2030, together with the brand CEOs.

Mr. François Provost, CEO of Renault Group, said: “Four months after the launch of our futuREady plan, we are continuing the transformation of Renault Group with a clear focus on simplification and speed of execution. The creation of the General Secretariat is a key lever to strengthen our governance and our capacity to deliver on our ambitions. This role will also contribute to the development of certain high-potential activities. I have every confidence in Quitterie to lead this strategic function. At the same time, we are simplifying the scope of product, programs and strategy to accelerate the strengthening of our vehicle range and technologies.”
