Mumbai – Tata Motors Ltd., a passenger vehicle and commercial vehicle manufacturer, has launched the Intra EV Pickup to strengthen its electric commercial vehicle lineup, aiming to provide a practical and cost-efficient solution for cargo transport with higher load capacity, longer range, and lower running costs.

The Intra EV Pickup is designed for real-world commercial use, enabling operators to handle heavier loads and longer routes with improved efficiency. It offers a 1,750 kg payload and up to 10 ft 2 in load body, making it suitable for e-commerce, FMCG, cold-chain, waste management, LPG, and dairy applications.
Powered by a 72-kW electric motor producing 230 Nm torque, the vehicle ensures strong performance even under load, while 23% gradeability supports operations on challenging terrain. The 28.2 kWh battery delivers a certified range of 211 km, with fast charging from 10–80% in around 55 minutes, helping maximise uptime.

The vehicle comes with a 6-year or 2 lakh km battery warranty, along with safety features like Electronic Braking System and regenerative braking to improve efficiency and control. It also includes Fleet Edge connectivity for real-time tracking, vehicle health monitoring, and predictive maintenance.
Tata Motors added that the vehicle is supported by its growing EV ecosystem, including charging infrastructure, service network, and financing options, making it easier for businesses and fleet owners to adopt electric mobility.
