Hong Kong - The Battery Show Asia (TBSA 2025), co-located with Mobility Tech Asia (MTA 2025) at AsiaWorld-Expo held from July 15-17, 2025, wrapped up this week after a high-impact, three-day showcase of cutting-edge battery, energy storage, and mobility innovations.
The event attracted 314 exhibitors and 17,893 professional buyers representing 132 countries and regions, underlining the global significance and appeal of Asia’s rapidly evolving energy landscape.
Leading global and regional players such as CATL, Leoch Battery, Panasonic Energy, WeLion, Great Power, Hongfa, SCANTECH, MANST, NORMA GROUP, and JSH, demonstrated advancements across several key sectors: batteries and energy storage systems, charging/swapping technologies, thermal management, intelligent manufacturing, and beyond.
Organizers delivered 120 high-level conference sessions featuring 105 industry and technical experts. Discussions spanned innovation in battery breakthroughs, e-mobility policies, energy storage solutions, and emerging market trends. Earlier in the year, the event laid the groundwork for these sessions by announcing summits on topics like EV/HV technologies, charging infrastructure, hydrogen technology, new energy boats, and e-two-wheelers.
A highlight of TBSA 2025 was its precise matchmaking services. A dedicated buyer engagement team facilitated connections with over 15,000 key decision makers across regions including China, South Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, Europe, North America, India, the Middle East, and Australia. Impressively, 59.7% of visitors were from outside mainland China, reinforcing the show’s international status.
Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld-Expo served as a vital gateway, enabling Asia-Pacific and global participation. Event halls 5, 7, and 9 were abuzz with business exchanges, technology demos, and industry dialogues over the three days.
