Hinckley, United Kingdom- Triumph Motorcycles Ltd. has revealed two new motorcycles for its popular 400cc line-up: the all-new MY27 Tracker 400 and the MY26 Thruxton 400, which is now making its global debut after already creating interest in India. Both bikes keep Triumph’s retro-modern design language but bring different personalities one inspired by flat track racing, the other shaped by classic café racer style.

Both models use the latest TR-Series engine, now updated for stronger top-end performance. Triumph says the engine produces 41.4 hp (42 PS) at 9,000 rpm, with a higher rev limit and a 5% increase in peak power compared to earlier versions. The brand positions these new 400s as premium yet accessible motorcycles, aimed at delivering strong value for money.

The Tracker 400 is Triumph’s first flat track-inspired bike in this range. It comes with wide, flat handlebars and repositioned footpegs to create a confident, upright riding posture. Triumph also mentions a dedicated chassis to make the handling sharper and the ride more engaging. Styling cues include a seat cowl, number board, boxy fuel tank, fly screen, and newly styled wheels, paired with Pirelli MT60 RS tyres. The Tracker 400 will be offered in Racing Yellow, Phantom Black, and Aluminium Silver Gloss, giving it a bold flat track look for the road.

The Thruxton 400 brings back the famous Thruxton name with a modern 400cc interpretation. Triumph describes it as a contemporary take on the iconic silhouette, combining traditional café racer character with updated design and performance. It features clip-on handlebars and rear-set footpegs for a more aggressive riding position, along with a refined suspension set-up intended to support quick, responsive handling. Colour options include Pearl Metallic White with Storm Grey, and Metallic Racing Yellow.

Triumph also highlights ownership benefits for both models, including class-leading service intervals and a two-year, unlimited mileage warranty, which also covers Genuine Triumph accessories. This package is aimed at keeping the running costs lower while improving confidence for owners.

Mr. Paul Stroud, Triumph Motorcycles’ Chief Commercial Officer, said the existing 400 range Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, and the newer Scrambler XC has been a strong global success, winning awards and helping drive record sales. He added that the 400 platform has brought more young riders and more women into Triumph than ever before. With the Tracker 400 and Thruxton 400, Triumph says it is expanding that momentum by giving riders two fresh styles: the Tracker’s stripped-back flat track attitude and the Thruxton’s classic café racer identity, both powered by the most powerful TR-Series engine yet.
