Bengaluru, India –Ultraviolette Automotive and Bolt.Earth., announced that their EV charging network has crossed 100 Type-6 DC fast chargers across India. The companies had originally planned to install 50 chargers after starting their partnership in March 2026, but faster EV adoption and growing demand for charging infrastructure helped them achieve the milestone earlier than expected.
The charging network is currently available across Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and West Bengal. The expansion is improving access to fast-charging facilities for electric motorcycle riders across cities, highways and key EV travel routes in India.
The companies said the achievement reflects their strong execution capabilities and shared focus on building a reliable, scalable and standardised charging ecosystem for electric two-wheelers. As part of the next phase, they plan to install an additional 200 Type-6 DC fast chargers over the next two months.
All installed chargers support Ultraviolette’s X-47 and F77 electric motorcycles, allowing riders to use fast-charging stations across multiple regions. The deployment also includes upgrades to existing Bolt.Earth charging stations to ensure compatibility with Ultraviolette motorcycles.
Mr. Niraj Rajmohan, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Ultraviolette, said, “the milestone reflects the growth of the company’s rider community and the rapid expansion of India’s electric two-wheeler market. He added that recent fluctuations in global crude oil markets have highlighted the importance of building reliable electricity-based mobility infrastructure with better accessibility, reliability and interoperability.”
Mr. Mohit Yadav, Founder of Bolt.Earth, said, “crossing the 100-charger milestone within weeks of launch highlights the fast growth of India’s EV ecosystem and Bolt.Earth’s ability to rapidly scale charging infrastructure. He added that the company plans to deploy 10,000 Type-6 Blaze DC chargers over the next two years to create one of India’s largest public fast-charging networks for electric two-wheelers.”
