IOWA, USA Vermeer Corporation., an agricultural equipment manufacturer, in collaboration with alliance partner G.T. Bunning & Sons Ltd., has reached a key milestone as the first MS400 manure spreaders manufactured at Vermeer’s Griswold, Iowa facility are now being shipped to dealers and customers across North America.

The MS400 has already gained traction in the agricultural sector, with several units currently in operation on farms. While Bunning continues to lead the design and engineering of the spreaders, Vermeer is utilizing its manufacturing capabilities to address rising regional demand and enhance product availability.

Mr. Shane Rourke, managing director of Vermeer Forage Solutions, said, “Shipping the first MS400 units built in Griswold is a major step forward. Our partnership with Bunning has always been about combining strengths. Their proven design and strong engineering heritage, paired with our sales, marketing and support network, continues to bring tremendous value to producers.”

Vermeer initially announced its alliance with Bunning in September 2024, bringing together Vermeer’s extensive dealer network and customer support with Bunning’s decades of expertise in manure spreader technology. Both companies share strong agricultural foundations and a commitment to innovation, reliability, and meeting the evolving needs of hay, forage, and livestock producers.

As the first Griswold-built units begin arriving on farms, Vermeer plans to continue working closely with Bunning on future product refinements, additional features, and long-term development initiatives tailored to support North American agricultural operations.
