Eskilstuna, Sweden - Volvo Construction Equipment., (Volvo CE) has partnered with Unicontrol., a cloud-based software provider for construction, to enhance accessibility and flexibility in 3D machine control technology for excavators. This collaboration aims to simplify integration for contractors, support mixed fleets, and streamline workflows.
The Unicontrol 3D system will debut in select European markets later this year, with global availability planned for the future. Integrated into Volvo CE's Co-Pilot interface, it simplifies machine control. When Co-Pilot is factory-ordered with Dig Assist, operators can activate Unicontrol 3D features without needing additional hardware or monitors.
