Iwata, Japan- Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., will take part in the Japan Mobility Show 2025, organized by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, Inc. The event will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from October 29 to November 9, with October 29–30 designated as press days and October 31–November 9 open to the general public. Yamaha Motor’s booth will be located in East Hall 5 and will be presented under the theme “Feel. Move.” Built around the concept of “Feel the Future of Human-Machine Mobility,” the booth will showcase 16 models in total, including six world premieres. These will span mid-development prototypes, various electric and hybrid motorcycles, eBikes, and concept models of electric wheelchairs, offering visitors a glimpse into Yamaha’s vision for the future of mobility.

Among the world premiere models making their debut are the MOTOROiD:Λ reference vehicle, the TRICERA proto reference vehicle, the PROTO BEV reference vehicle, the H2 Buddy Porter Concept reference vehicle, and the Y-00B: Base / Bricolage reference vehicle. Alongside these, Yamaha will exhibit a range of other key models and technologies. These include the e-Axle special exhibit; the PROTO HEV and PROTO PHEV reference vehicles; and the NACTUS VS TRE-X and ONE-MAX Urban / Historical special exhibits, which collectively highlight Yamaha’s multi-faceted approach to next-generation mobility and powertrains.

The booth will also feature a collaborative area with Yamaha Corporation, further enriching the experience by fusing mobility with music and sound. Hatsune Miku of VOCALOID fame will serve as a special promoter for the booth, helping to attract a wide audience. Yamaha Corporation will present a series of electronic musical instruments and stage contents that leverage the company’s 3D acoustic technology. Exhibits will include the Sound xR special installation, the FGDP-30 and FGDP-50 instruments, the AvantGrand N3X hybrid piano, and the DTX10K-X BLACK FOREST electronic drum kit. Live demonstrations and dynamic stage productions will invite visitors to experience the emotional connection between performance, sound, and cutting-edge technology.

In addition to concept and special exhibits, Yamaha Motor will display several production and competition machines that represent its current and near-future offerings. These include the TRACER9 GT+ Y-AMT production model, the Fazzio upcoming production vehicle, the YZF-R1 Suzuka 8 Hours-spec racing machine, and the TY-E 3.0 competition electric trials bike. Together, these models demonstrate how Yamaha’s racing DNA and engineering know-how feed directly into its broader mobility lineup.

Yamaha’s presence at the show will extend beyond its main booth. In the Tokyo Future Tour 2035 area, visitors will find DIAPASON C580 Fork 105, DIAPASON C580 Fork 516, DIAPASON C729, Y/AI, MOTOLATOR_U, and VR TRAIL, all of which explore future-oriented concepts that blend advanced technology with human-centered design. In the Mobility Culture Area, Yamaha will exhibit a firefighting motorcycle, the DRIVE H2 hydrogen-engine golf car, the historic YZR500 (0W76) race machine, and the JOG (CE50E) scooter.
