Gujarat - Ammann India., a construction equipment manufacturer, has marked a major milestone with the roll-out of its first locally assembled ABG 5420 Tracked Paver (Tier 3) from its newly commissioned assembly line at the Ditasan manufacturing facility. The launch signifies the full integration of the ABG Paver business into Ammann India and aligns with the Government’s Make in India for the World vision.
The launch event was led by Bernd Holz, Executive Vice President of ABG General Management, and Dheeraj Panda, Managing Director of Ammann India, alongside senior leadership. The ABG 5420 is designed for both Indian and international markets, targeting regions such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Built to Tier 3 emission standards, it caters to contractors seeking high performance, fuel efficiency, and compliance in an evolving regulatory environment.
In addition to the paver launch, Ammann inaugurated a dedicated 10,000 sq. ft. ABG warehouse at the Ditasan site, with an extra 2,000 sq. ft. for material staging. Equipped with advanced material handling systems, multi-level racking for up to 1,800 SKUs, and a scalable layout, the facility enhances aftermarket parts availability, shortens delivery times, and strengthens service support.
