Las Vegas, USA – Sinoboom Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., an access equipment manufacturer, unveiled its new Dual-ETM Smart Technology for electric boom lifts during a press conference at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, highlighting advancements aimed at improving operational efficiency and extending battery endurance.
The Dual-ETM system is designed to optimise power usage by dynamically calculating the exact energy required for machine operations in real time. Rather than operating continuously at maximum power demand, the system adjusts output based on operational requirements, reducing unnecessary energy consumption and improving overall machine performance.
The technology combines several high-precision components, including pressure, weight, length and level sensors, which continuously provide operational data to the system. This allows the machine to respond accurately to changing working conditions. In addition, a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) improves the efficiency of the oil pump drive system, while a CAN-bus controlled multi-valve configuration reduces flow loss and enhances control precision.
According to Sinoboom, field tests conducted under real working conditions showed notable improvements in performance. Electric boom lifts equipped with Dual-ETM Smart Technology recorded approximately 30% lower energy consumption and delivered around 30% longer operating endurance compared with conventional systems.
Mr. Hyman Yu, Head of the Global Product Management Center at Sinoboom, said, “The innovation marks a significant step forward in electric boom lift design and establishes a new benchmark for efficiency within the access equipment industry.”
