Pune- Bajaj Auto Ltd., has launched the all-new Chetak C25, expanding its Chetak electric scooter portfolio with a more stylish, sleek, and youth-focused option aimed at everyday urban mobility. The company says the C25 brings a fresher, cooler expression to the brand while retaining the core Chetak values of solidity, sturdiness, and reliability, along with a lighter and more effortless riding feel for daily commuting.

Built to handle busy city streets, the Chetak C25 is positioned for evolving urban lifestyles where riders want easy, independent mobility without sacrificing build quality. Bajaj highlights that in a market crowded with plastic and fibre scooters, Chetak has gained acceptance among a wide mix of buyers families, youth, women, and young couples who value its durable metal build, confident ride feel, and long-term dependability. With multi-scooter ownership increasing in households, the C25 is designed as a practical second scooter or a first EV for city use.

In terms of styling, the C25 follows a neo-classic design with a modern, clean look. It features a premium metal body with a high-quality paint finish, a signature DRL headlamp, and a mono-body construction designed for a seamless appearance. The scooter is offered in six vibrant colours and includes youthful, street-art inspired graphics. Its compact proportions and agile handling are aimed at making it easy to manoeuvre through traffic and tight spaces, supporting the scooter’s “ride easy” positioning.

Powering the Chetak C25 is a 2.5 kWh battery, delivering a claimed range of up to 113 km and a top speed of 55 km/h. Bajaj also states the scooter can charge to 80% in 2.25 hours, aligning it with regular city commuting needs. Practicality is supported by a 25-litre boot, intended to handle daily errands and household shopping. The C25 also includes features such as hill hold assist, guide me home, and disc brakes to improve convenience and safety.

Bajaj says the C25 completes the Chetak portfolio alongside the 35 and 30 Series, giving customers options for different usage needs. Supported by the brand’s service network, the company positions the C25 as a strong choice for first-time EV buyers and for households looking to add a compact, reliable scooter for daily city mobility.

Mr. Eric Vas, President – Urbanite Business, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said the C25 reflects changing urban usage patterns shorter trips, tighter streets, and rising demand for independent movement while keeping the fundamentals that define Chetak: solidity, sturdiness, and reliability.
