Sun Prairie, Wisconsin - Brooks Tractor., a heavy equipment manufacturer, has appointed industry veteran Mark Shea as its new Used Equipment Manager, strengthening the company’s focus on growth in the expanding used equipment market. Shea brings over 20 years of construction industry experience, including 15 years as a global product consultant for John Deere Construction and Forestry.

A Wisconsin native, Shea grew up on a dairy farm in the southwest region of the state and later earned a degree in mechanical engineering. His career spans hands-on contracting work, global consulting and extensive customer engagement. At Brooks Tractor, he aims to deepen customer relationships and expand the company’s presence in used equipment sales.

Mr. Mark Shea, said, “Coming home to serve customers in Wisconsin feels incredibly rewarding. I’ve loved working with people across the country and around the world, but Wisconsin is home. I’ve got some tremendous shoes to fill, and I’m committed to honoring the legacy while bringing my own experience and energy to the role. For every new sale transaction, there are ten used sales transactions. If we can continue to capture a larger portion of that market, we’ll grow in every aspect of how we serve our customers.”

With used equipment transactions far exceeding new equipment sales in volume, Shea plans to leverage that momentum.

Brooks Tractor also announced the retirement of Rollie Aspenson, who concludes 28 years of service with the company. In its statement, the company praised Aspenson as a trusted leader and mentor, acknowledging his significant contributions to its long-term success.
