Hannover, Germany - CLAAS KGaA mbH., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, successfully concluded its 2025 fiscal year, navigating a challenging market with resilience and strategic focus. Despite global caution and market volatility, the company strengthened its position and laid important groundwork for the future through a broad product push, strategic investments, and digital development.
Sales performance varied across regions. While Western Europe saw a slight decline, Central Europe and Central Asia experienced notable growth. In the Americas, strong performance in South America offset weaker results in North America.
Claas introduced the new Jaguar 1000 forage harvester series, which pushes the limits of throughput capacity with the widest crop flow on the market. Shortly after its launch, the Jaguar 1200 set a world record for silage harvesting. The new Axion 9 large tractor series also debuted with a redesigned cabin, intelligent drivetrain management, and comprehensive connectivity, earning the title of Tractor of the Year in the High Power category. Claas further expanded its portfolio with the Arion 570 CMatic and the compact Axos 3 tractor.
In harvesting technology, the latest Lexion 8000 series and the new Trion 760 combine harvester consolidated Claas’ market leadership. The company also took steps in alternative drive technology with the introduction of the Torion 537e electric telehandler. Other highlights included the Cubix square baler and the variable Cerex 700 round baler, with Claas earning multiple awards at Agritechnica, including recognition for its predictive, fully adaptive power train management system.
Mr. Jan-Hendrik Mohr, CEO, said, “The year 2025 was defined by our groundbreaking product push. With strong innovations, we significantly expanded our portfolio, setting new benchmarks in technology and customer benefits. In a challenging year for the agricultural machinery industry, we performed well and further reinforced our position. We trust in our strategy, our innovative strength, and, above all, our dedicated team.”
Investment in infrastructure continued, with modernization and expansion projects at several Claas locations. New facilities included a highly automated prefabrication centre at Harsewinkel, an upgraded forage harvesting technology plant in Bad Saulgau, a multifunctional tractor production hall in Le Mans, and an advanced R&D centre in Omaha, Nebraska, strengthening the company’s presence in North America.
Claas also prioritized digital transformation through the group-wide implementation of the S/4HANA ERP system, laying the foundation for future innovation and efficiency improvements.
