Czech Republic, Europe – CLAAS KGaA mbH., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, in collaboration with its importer Agrall., has officially handed over 17 Xerion 12 Terra Trac tractors to RHEA Holding., owned by the Kolar family, making it the largest Xerion fleet in the world. The ceremonial handover took place in the presence of Claas Group leadership, Claas Central Europe, and Cathrina Claas-Muhlhauser, with 10 of the machines on display.

The powerful Xerion 12 Terra Trac tractors will support operations across RHEA Holding’s 25,000+ hectares of farmland, with six units already in use. The rest of the fleet was delivered in spring 2025, just in time for sowing season.

Mr. Christian Radons, Executive VP Business Unit Service & Sales at Claas, said, “We are proud that RHEA Holding is now also embedding confidence in our most powerful tractor.”

The new fleet is paired with 18 Vaderstad tillage implements and seed drills, chosen to match the performance of the high-horsepower Xerions. The machines operate on varying soil types, from sandy soils to heavy clay with high stone content, requiring robust machinery with high output capabilities.

Mr. Josef Kolar, Owner of RHEA Holding, said, “In addition to the performance, the operators particularly appreciate the large cab and the driving comfort. Thanks to the low slip of just 0 to a maximum of 1 per cent, it has also been possible to increase the output and reduce fuel consumption per hectare at the same time. The crawler track units and the resulting lower soil compaction also reduce wear on the wearing parts of the implements.”

The addition of the world’s largest Xerion 12 fleet further cements RHEA’s status as a major agricultural force in Central Europe, driven by advanced, sustainable technology.
