Delhi- Ducati India Private Limited., has introduced the XDiavel V4 in the Indian market, bringing its latest sport-cruiser with a new 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine. The motorcycle is offered in two metallic colour options: Burning Red and Black Lava.

Power comes from the V4 Granturismo unit producing 168 hp and 12.8 kgm of torque (also stated as 126 Nm at 7,500 rpm, with maximum power arriving at 10,750 rpm). The engine is derived from the V4 family used in Ducati’s high-performance models, and features a counter-rotating crankshaft inspired by MotoGP to reduce gyroscopic effect and improve agility. It also gets cylinder deactivation, which shuts off the rear cylinder bank during low-rev riding and when stationary. Major maintenance is scheduled at 60,000 km intervals.

The XDiavel V4 has a 229 kg kerb weight, which is 6 kg lighter than the earlier XDiavel 1260 S. Ducati claims the motorcycle can sprint from 0–100 km/h in under three seconds. Braking hardware includes 330 mm discs with Brembo Stylema calipers, with a claimed peak deceleration of 11.5 m/s².

Commenting on the launch, Bipul Chandra, Managing Director, Ducati India, said the XDiavel V4 reflects Ducati’s focus on design, performance, and innovation. He added that the new V4 engine delivers strong performance and agility while retaining cruiser comfort and presence, and highlighted the single-sided swingarm and rear wheel design as standout elements.

In terms of electronics, the motorcycle comes equipped with a 6-axis IMU, Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Ducati Power Launch, and Ducati Quick Shift (up/down). It offers three Power Modes and four Riding Modes: Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet.

Comfort and ergonomics have been updated with a 770 mm seat height, 25 mm more rear suspension travel than the previous model, and a revised pillion seat that is 30% wider, 50% longer, and 25 mm thicker for improved passenger support.

The XDiavel V4 features a 6.9-inch TFT colour display with an 8:3 aspect ratio, along with Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone pairing. Turn-by-turn navigation is available as an optional feature via the Ducati Link App.

Design highlights include a single-sided aluminium swingarm, a wide 240/45 rear tyre, and full-LED lighting with a double C-profile DRL and dynamic indicators. Ducati also offers a range of touring and custom accessories through its Ducati Performance catalogue, including 48-litre semi-rigid panniers, a passenger backrest with integrated headlight, windscreen options, comfort or lowered seats, a homologated exhaust, carbon parts, forged wheels, and coloured brake calipers
