Bologna, Italy - EIMA International., the world’s leading exhibition for agricultural machinery, will return to Bologna, Italy, from 10–14 November, and preparations are already off to a strong start. Just two months after registrations opened, demand for exhibition space has exceeded the venue’s capacity, underlining the growing global interest in agricultural mechanization and innovation.
Organized by FederUnacoma, the Italian Federation of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers, the exhibition’s Event Management Office is currently fine-tuning the layout of exhibition spaces to accommodate the surge in applications. The 2026 edition is expected to match—or surpass—the success of the previous show held in November 2024, which hosted 1,750 companies and attracted over 350,000 visitors from 150 countries.
EIMA 2026 will retain its established format, featuring 14 specialized product sectors and seven thematic showcases. These include Energy, Components, Idrotech, Digital, and Green, alongside the newly introduced EIMA Extend and EIMA Campus. Outdoor dynamic demonstrations will once again be a major highlight, including EIMA Energy demos, Tractor of the Year, Garden E-motion, the Contoterzista Driver Trophy, and REAL, the arena dedicated to robotics and highly automated machinery.
Ms. Simona Rapastella, Director of EIMA International, said, “Technical and economic-political content are shaping the new agriculture. Design the Agricultural Future. The exhibition maintains its distinctive identity, while continuously evolving in content, spatial organization and services. This program allows us to examine sector policies and challenges on an international scale. It is a defining feature of an exhibition that continues to see rising participation from foreign operators, welcomes official ICE delegations from more than 80 countries, and hosts internationally recognized institutions such as the Club of Bologna.”
Greater emphasis will be placed on the EIMA Extend Salon, which is reserved for institutions, professional organizations, and key stakeholders across the agricultural supply chain. The 2026 edition will also feature the newly available Hall 35, a reorganized layout for outdoor demonstration areas, and enhanced visitor welcome services.
The event’s conference program will include around 150 meetings and seminars, addressing not only technical developments but also political, economic, and geopolitical factors influencing global agriculture and mechanization.
