Kögel debuts Advanced Tipper Lineup at bauma Munich

Burtenbach, Germany- Kögel Trailer GmbH & Co. KG., a trailer manufacturer, is unveiling its latest innovations for the construction sector at bauma Munich, including a newly developed tipper body and its well-established asphalt tipper.

Engineered with a low tare weight, the tipper body maximizes payload efficiency, while its well-balanced chassis and wide, low-slung design ensure superior driving stability and robust load capacity. The one-piece construction not only enhances wear resistance for a longer service life but also provides greater flexibility and efficiency for companies operating in construction, ancillary services, or in challenging environments like sand and gravel pits.

The new Kögel tipper body impresses with an optimum ratio of tare weight to payload. The minimum version only weighs approx. 5,200 kilograms and offers a choice of skip sizes of 24 m³ or 27 m³.

By using high-strength fine-grain steels in the chassis frame, Kögel guarantees high durability and stability. The reinforced rear frame ensures optimum force distribution when tipping, while the weight-optimized and torsion-resistant chassis ensures high stability. The short, maneuverable wheelbase makes maneuvering easier and ensures outstanding driving characteristics. In addition, the Kögel tipper body is calculated in accordance with FEM standards and has been tested on rough roads and by customers.

The new tipper body features a wear- and corrosion-resistant steel build, ideal for abrasive loads like sand, gravel, and crushed stone. It includes an integrated canopy (manual or electric) to prevent load loss during transit and offers a steep 49° tilting angle for fast, residue-free unloading. A robust, low-weight design ensures excellent payload, stability, and durability.

Also on display is the proven Kögel asphalt tipper body, designed with water-repellent, temperature-resistant foam insulation. Its extended 170 mm overhang aids roadwork precision, while a manual or remote-controlled sliding roof minimizes heat and material loss. With a short wheelbase for tight job sites, it includes safety features like an extendable access ladder, body steps, and an optional asphalt pusher for accurate material delivery.

Both models highlight Kögel’s commitment to durable, efficient transport solutions for construction and roadwork.

Mr. Wolfgang Reitböck, Product Manager, said, The one-piece welded, wide and low-set body gives the vehicle a high level of stability thanks to its low center of gravity. Made from wear-resistant, tempered sheet steel, it meets the high demands of the construction industry. The smooth, straight inner surface minimizes dirt deposits and makes cleaning easier. "We took customer requests into account and realized that less is more with the trough design. Every protruding edge, every angle and every weld seam causes unwanted material deposits - both inside and out.

Kögel stands for low operating costs, high efficiency and a long service life for its vehicles. Thanks to the use of first-class materials, effective corrosion protection and a maintenance-friendly design, Kögel tipping vehicles guarantee a sustainable investment for companies in the construction industry.
