USA - Harley-Davidson's electric mobility arm, LiveWire., has expanded its electric motorcycle portfolio with the launch of the new S4 Honcho Trail and S4 Honcho Street mini motorcycles. The latest models mark the company's entry into the lightweight electric two-wheeler segment and are designed for new riders, urban commuters, and recreational users.
The S4 Honcho range was first showcased as a concept at the Harley-Davidson Homecoming event in Milwaukee and later displayed at the EICMA motorcycle show. LiveWire has now started production of both models, with deliveries set to begin in select international markets this summer before expanding to more countries during 2026.
The S4 Honcho Trail and Street are 125cc-equivalent electric motorcycles built for different riding needs. The Trail variant is designed for light off-road adventures, while the Street version is aimed at everyday city commuting. Both models feature unique styling, different seat heights, and rider-friendly ergonomics.
Powering the new motorcycles is a dual removable battery pack with a combined capacity of 3.48kWh. LiveWire claims a top speed of 95 kmph and a riding range of up to 85 km on a single charge. The removable batteries can be charged from 20% to 80% in around two hours, offering added convenience for daily use.
Despite their compact size, the S4 Honcho models weigh around 115 kg and come with a standard reverse function to improve manoeuvrability. LiveWire also claims the bikes can accelerate from 0 to 48 kmph in about three seconds, making them quick and practical for urban riding. With these new models, the company aims to strengthen its presence in the growing global electric motorcycle market.
