Hector, Minnesota – Loftness., a construction attachments manufacturer, has updated its Kwik Cut brush cutter attachment for skid steers and compact track loaders, improving durability and cutting performance for heavy brush and trees up to 10 inches in diameter.
The upgraded model features a heavily reinforced housing and a stronger floating door with an improved hinge, thicker bracing and a reinforced door stop. Additional steel tubing has also been added to strengthen the body and reduce frame twisting under heavy pressure.
The Kwik Cut uses a 72-inch heavy-duty disc fitted with four dual-edge beveled blades. The blades are designed to retract during severe impact, helping protect the attachment and its components from damage. The underside of the disc includes 18 carbide teeth for grinding stumps and brush down to ground level.
Loftness’ floating door design opens as the cutter is pushed into a tree, exposing the blades for efficient cutting. When fully open, the door becomes rigid and works as a tree pusher.
Designed for power units with 28 to 45 GPM hydraulic flow and pressure up to 5,000 PSI, the cutter is powered by a 150cc radial piston motor. Standard features include bearing anti-wrap protection, a premium-strength steel body and disc, a rubber-mounted pressure gauge, and a universal skid-steer mount.
